Chopper 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the classic Chopper.
Chopper 2 has more missions - 36 in total - in 12 different locations. Version 2 features a new 3D game engine with all new enemies, weapons and graphics although it still retains the side scrolling game-play. The basic aim in Chopper 2 is to escort a convoy of vehicles across the desert or defend a train from enemies emerging from underground mines.
You must use your laser sight to target enemies while avoiding heat seeking missiles, gunfire and even bird strikes. As you help your allies defend against advancing armies and rescue stranded civilians your ranking up the high score table advances.
Chopper 2 looks great and is optimized for displays up to 2560x1600 pixels. You control your chopper using the keyboard and mouse and there's an extensive original soundtrack while you play. If you have an iPhone or iPod Touch, you can even use the remote control feature to wirelessly control the Mac version of Chopper 2 over WiFi. The only slight downside is that that it always opens in full screen mode - you have to use CMD-F to return to windowed mode.
Chopper 2 is an excellent sequel to the classic helicopter game.
